Practicing in Estate and Asset Protection Planning, Business Planning, Special Needs Planning, Elder Law

Elizabeth A. Anderson, a Kansas native, is an attorney specializing in Estate Planning, Business Planning, Special Needs Planning, and Elder Law. She is a partner of The Law Network, P.C., a trusts, estates and business planning law firm in the Centennial/Greenwood Village area.

Originally, Elizabeth thought she would be an engineer, studying Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. A research project, however, fatefully pulled her into another direction and she moved to New York to attend law school. She is licensed in both Colorado and New York.

Elizabeth started her legal career working for the New York State Appellate Court. While there, she represented individuals with mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the elderly in a variety of court proceedings including Guardianships and Conservatorships. Today, Elizabeth still advocates for special needs individuals. She is Chair of the Board of Directors for FRIENDs of Broomfield, an organization which provides opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through an innovative and person-centered approach.

Elizabeth applies this unique, person-centered approach to all of her clients. She is a big believer in individualized plans. She individually drafts and funds various types of trusts to meet her clients’ needs including: revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, special needs trusts, and Medicaid trusts. Elizabeth also works with many small business owners to create limited liability companies, corporations, and family limited partnerships.

When Elizabeth is not volunteering, she spends time with her husband and their two little boys. Her family loves adventure, and you will often find them hiking, skiing, or travelling.
