Our Process

Our team approaches our practice with the understanding that estate planning is a dynamic area of law, and a client’s current concerns will change over time.  Our goal is to continue as your estate planning team over time, and to make the estate planning process as seamless and painless as possible.

Our attorneys offer an initial complimentary one-hour session to assess the potential client’s situation.  Depending on complexity of the plan, we can usually design a plan by the end of the first meeting and quote a flat fee for the legal work.  The second meeting is the execution meeting.  During the second meeting, we review each document with the client and assure all the questions are answered.
Once plan documents are executed, the final step is to assure that all assets are accounted for and funded to the trust.  This is often a combined effort of the client, attorney, paralegal staff, and financial advisor.

Most plans can be completed in a few weeks.
