Penny Myers is an attorney whose practice focuses primarily in Trust Formation, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Business Entity Creation. She is the principal of The Law Network, P.C., an estate and business planning law firm in the Centennial/ Greenwood Village area.
Penny began her career as a civil litigator with a Denver-based firm, but transitioned into estate planning due to her desire to help people achieve peace-of-mind that, at each stage of life, their affairs are in order. She loves to help clients decide the best course of action for their unique life challenges. She was a trusted associate of Barry S. Engel, an internationally known practitioner in the areas of wealth and asset protection, which included integrated planning and offshore trusts.
Over the years, Penny has worked with many clients at all stages of their planning, from the initial asset analysis and document review, to drafting and funding various types of trusts, including: revocable living trusts, personal residence trusts, charitable trusts, insurance trusts, and Medicaid trusts. Penny also works with family-owned businesses to create limited liability companies, corporations, and family limited partnerships.
A graduate of Denver University School of Law, she obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association (Trust & Estate, Business Law, and Elder Law Sections), the Douglas County Bar Association, and Wealth Counsel. Penny is a frequent speaker on the topics of estate, business, and asset protection planning.
Penny and her husband Rob have been married since 1991. They have experienced all the joys and challenges of raising three children – a daughter, and twin sons. A Nebraska native, she has lived in Colorado most of her adult life. Penny approaches her practice knowing that life does not always go as expected. Elizabeth A. Anderson, a Kansas native, is an attorney specializing in Estate Planning, Business Planning, Special Needs Planning, and Elder Law. She is a partner of The Law Network, P.C., a trusts, estates and business planning law firm in the Centennial/Greenwood Village area.
Originally, Elizabeth thought she would be an engineer, studying Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. A research project, however, fatefully pulled her into another direction and she moved to New York to attend law school. She is licensed in both Colorado and New York.
Elizabeth started her legal career working for the New York State Appellate Court. While there, she represented individuals with mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the elderly in a variety of court proceedings including Guardianships and Conservatorships. Today, Elizabeth still advocates for special needs individuals. She is Chair of the Board of Directors for FRIENDs of Broomfield, an organization which provides opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through an innovative and person-centered approach.
Elizabeth applies this unique, person-centered approach to all of her clients. She is a big believer in individualized plans. She individually drafts and funds various types of trusts to meet her clients’ needs including: revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, special needs trusts, and Medicaid trusts. Elizabeth also works with many small business owners to create limited liability companies, corporations, and family limited partnerships.
When Elizabeth is not volunteering, she spends time with her husband and their two little boys. Her family loves adventure, and you will often find them hiking, skiing, or travelling.
Shawn started his career in the military. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Saint Bonaventure University on a full 4-year Army scholarship and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1988. He served as an Engineer Officer and was honorably discharged from the Army Reserve in 1996, having attained the rank of Captain.
Following his military service, Shawn pursued higher education with remarkable tenacity. He earned his MBA from Binghamton University, followed by a Juris Doctor with a concentration in finance transactions from the University at Buffalo. Recognizing the intricate relationship between law and finance, particularly in estate planning, Shawn further honed his expertise by obtaining a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Denver.
Throughout his career, Shawn has worn many professional hats, each contributing to his holistic approach to law. He has served as an underwriter, a Series 7 Registered Representative, In-House counsel for a financial services company, and a Chief Compliance Officer. These varied roles have given him insight into the multifaceted nature of financial and legal challenges his clients often face.
Originally from New York state, Shawn now resides with his wife, Elinor, and together they are proud parents to their daughter, Molly Rose, who is currently pursuing her college education. When not serving his clients, Shawn maintains a balanced life through his interests in martial arts and cooking. He also cherishes time spent with his two dogs, Ranger and Sapper, names that perhaps hint at his military background.

Tamara Jennings (Tami Jennings), born in Cape Town, South Africa. Moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, March 1985. Attended Skyline High School and graduated 1987.
Tami lives in Parker, CO, with her husband and daughter. Tami is Office Manager / Bookkeeper for The Law Network for over 3 years.
Tami enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. She enjoys spending time in outdoors and enjoys racing.
Brittany Jennings, born in Chandler, Arizona. Moved to Colorado in October of 2000. Attended Ponderosa High School and graduated in 2018. In 2020, she graduated with a Bookkeeping Certificate from Arapahoe Community.
Brittany lives in Parker, CO and is the Legal Assistant for The Law Network for over 3 years.
Brittany enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and spending time with her family and dogs.
Faith Good is our part time receptionist. She is currently a student at the University of Denver and is interested in studying Psychology and Marketing.
When she isn’t busy with school and work, she also participates in the Voces Aureus Choir at the Lamont School of Music. In addition to her love of singing, Faith enjoys digital art, climbing, and skiing.
